Being a Grammie is Wonderful!

My happiest moments are spent with this little guy!  There is just something magical about being a Grammie that can turn the worst day into the best day the minute I hold this little guy in my arms.

Happy 23rd Birthday to my Twin Sons Chris and Josh!

Happy Birthday to my twin sons, Chris and Josh!  Tomorrow you will be 23 years old.  I still remember holding you for the first time and being in awe that you were both mine. ;)  I remember your big brother seeing you for the first time and gently petting you both on the head.  I will never forget the look on your Tutu's face when she came to the hospital to meet you and how much joy she took in helping take care of you for a few days before she had to head back to Hawaii.  I have such great memories of your dad holding you both while you were wide awake and he was fast asleep. ;)

You are both such wonderful young men and Dad and I are so proud of you.  You have a love for life and a drive to pursue your dreams.  You have kind hearts and have chosen wonderful women to be your wives and share your lives with.  Chris, you are an amazing daddy to Bradley, thank you for making us grandparents.  Josh, we love being able to live Europe through you as you travel and experience so much of what it has to offer.

No parents could love their children more or be prouder of them than Dad and I are of you.  Have a wonderful birthday boys and remember...you will always be my little Booger Butts! LOL! ;)

I Still Miss You Sasha

It's been almost 4 months since we said goodbye to our Sasha and not a day goes by when we do not miss her.  I still tear up when I see her picture.  I still don't like to go on walks because it was our special time together.  I still am having trouble letting go of her collar, leash and food dishes.  I have managed to sell her dog dog crate and I donated her supplements to an organization that helps other people with the cost of their pets but I am not ready yet to let go of everything that was her's.  There will always be an empty space in my life that she once filled.  I love you Sasha and always will.

Where did the Summer Go?

 

 Where did the Summer go?  It seems like things finally were starting to slow down after a busy Spring and early Summer and now school is due to start once again this Wednesday.  There is already a nip in the air at night and some of the Maple leaves are starting to put on their orange, yellow and red displays for all to see...it won't be long now and we will have to start up the pellet stove at night to take the chill off.  At least the sliver lining to all of this is that I will soon be back subbing once again at school and enjoying the kids and wonderful staff there.  I have missed them all and am looking forward to seeing and spending time with them.
