| Recipe for laundry detergent: For a single batch mix 1/2 cup Borax, 1/2 cup Washing Soda and 1 cup finely grated bar soap (Zote or Bar Keepers Friend work well but you can use Ivory or any other bar soap also). Use 1 tablespoon for regular loads and 2 for heavily soiled loads. |
What do you use to grate your bar of soap? I need to make up another batch some time!
ReplyDeleteSandy, I use an old flat metal grater called an All in One Grater. I used the smallest hole part and it does a great job. :)
