Thank you for your kind comments, thoughts and prayers as our family goes through the grieving process for Uncle Bob, along with dealing with illnesses here on the home front and for beloved family members who are battling cancer, including my sister. It is a lot to deal with all at once. But onto happier things...
I thought I would share some of the thrift store finds that brought me joy leading up to Christmas. Most of the Christmas items were half price. Enjoy and Happy New Year to you all!
Nice finds. Hope you are doing well.ReplyDelete
Thank you Cheryl. I'm doing better now. :)Delete
Happy New Year, Debbie. Good finds, too, at the thrift shops!ReplyDelete
Thank you Bless! I had so much fun finding those items.Delete
What great finds. Thanks so much for sharing them here and for continuing to post. Quite a few of the blogs I follow seem to be falling by the wayside. So I'm very appreciative of your time and energy to post here.ReplyDelete
Learning about the thrift stores here is something I want to do in this new year. I think I'm finally done with all the paperwork/administrative stuff from my move. Next up is to get caught up on medical/dental appoinments - o..joy...
Just this week, though, I've turned the corner (I hope) in feeling like I'm back to my baseline for energy.
Sending hugs and prayers for a fantastic year ahead.
Cheers, SJ now in California
((((((HUGS))))) I'm glad you are settling in and finally feeling your "normal". Hope you can get all those medical and dental appointments taken care of soon.Delete
I think finding new thrift stores would be so much fun and I am excited for you! Maybe you will find some amazing treasures!
As for people falling off on posting, I think the holidays just got very busy for most people. I also have to wonder if, this season being hard for some people who have lost loved ones, has led to depression. I also believe that SAD can come into play too. I know I deal with that. We will just have to keep them in our prayers.
Much love to you my sweet friend!
