Frugal Meals Lately

Grilled burgers, coleslaw and watermelon.

Pizza with fresh basil and strawberries from our garden.

Homemade chicken noodle soup.

Avocado toast with tomato slices.

Tuna pasta salad with green onions from our garden and other veggies on the side.

Marked down veggie and dip party tray that we used for snacking and meals.

Marked down fried chicken from the deli (cheaper than I could buy the chicken and make myself) and cheesy hot dog buns.

Romaine salad with grapes, feta cheese and a homemade dressing.

Homemade pulled bbqed pork and carrot sticks.

  2. Nice photos and yummy looking food as always.
Glad you've got enough 'spoons' and energy to post.
From your last post - I'm stocking up on powdered milk and evaporated milk also. Just in case the poor corn harvest effects the dairy herds/production. I have this little voice in my head giving me the nudge.
On a different topic - I was accepted by a GR breeder and the puppies were born last week. I'll have a little boy coming home mid-August.
    Cheers, SJ

    1. Thank you Angela. This flu has been a bad one that is taking awhile to get over.
