Your garden is miles ahead of mine!! The sand cherries don't even have buds yet here!! Gorgeous photos.....and my dandelions are out of control this year also! Sigh.....
Must be the year for dandelions! :) We are ahead by about a month of where we usually are due to our strange warm weather. Today however it is raining and cold, which is much more typical for this time of year. My poor dog and cat are a bit confused by it all. ;) I hope you have a wonderful weekend and are able to enjoy your deck. :)
Love the pictures of your garden. About the dandelions - I read something recently that said to let them flower for the bees. Thought that was interesting. Thanks for considering a post about your supplements. Will be checking in. Thought I'd share one of my favorite memories of Pullman. My dog and I were there for treatments at the pet hospital for 3 months. The first morning there, she had her treatments and then we drove out to a park along the river so she could go swimming. On the way back to town, we passed a pickup truck. Didn't think much of it given the country. On day #2, we repeated our routine. And, again, on the way back to town, we passed this same pickup truck. Only this time, after seeing us twice, the driver waved hello. Just thought I'd share that with you. SJ in Vancouver BC
You must have gone down to Boyer Park with your dog. :) People are very friendly around these parts. You must have passed one of the local farmers, it could have even been one of our family friends. :) A lot of them farm there along that road.
Oh my goodness, your garden is gorgeous! And also ahead of mine. I see your mint has started outside the box? I have that too! All over the garden paths :-) I joke with my hubby that the mint that is just growing wildly looks better than my potted mint. And I'll just say this, honey bees love those dandelions!!
Hi Jessica! Yes, the mint has a mind of it's own and has spread all over. I do plan on harvesting more it it this year for tea. The dandelions are safe so far...hubby has been busy on projects in the house getting ready for a visit from my parents so he has not mowed them down. Even when he does though, within a few days there are more to take it's place. With all the things we have blooming right now the bees have been having a feast. YOu can just hear constant buzzing from the cherry and apple trees. :)
Hi, Debbie- I don't remember the name of the park. I just loved how friendly people were. Also, I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Pullman and they had a pet wing for hospital patients! And they had a BBQ for use by their customers. All to say people were so nice during a very tough time. Also writing to say, I had a great weekend and haven't crashed! Went to my new community garden and met some lovely people. Yesterday, I went to my swim class but didn't stay for the full time. Wanted to but knew it would be too much. And the instructor was very supportive. Yea! Swimming really helps me sleep at night - it's so weird with CFS. I can be exhausted and then unable to go to sleep or sleep well. The right amount of exercise has really helped me. I just have to be very attentive and not do too much. It's a balancing act some times that I don't always win. Hope you're having a good week.SJ
I had no idea the Holiday Inn had a pet wing. :) I have stayed there several times with my hubby, just to get away for a night.
I'm so glad you had a great weekend and are learning that delicate balancing act. I love to swim but would have to go into Pullman to the Aquatic Center there to do so or up to WSU or U of I. I hear you on the being exhausted but not being able to sleep...I am there most nights, last night being one of them.
My parents are coming for a visit on Friday and staying for a long weekend so we are busy getting ready for them and trying to get the garden under control. Those weeds are growing so quickly! I know that things will be very busy while they are here with our kids, grandkids and my cousin coming over and us visiting with my inlaws and doing a few fun things too. I know I will need to rest my next Monday after they leave and after my dentist appointment that day so I am planning an easy week then. ;)

Your flowers are so beautiful and you have so many! I happen to think dandelions are pretty too. Nancy
