I love Starry Hilder's videos. She is a homesteader who lives up north of us and recently was snowed in with the horrible storms we had. We are now dealing with flooding issues and some of the roads in our area have been severely damaged and/or are overrun with floodwaters. Other emergencies could be illness, loss of income, even your vehicle breaking down where you are unable to have transportation to the grocery store. Check out here video below!

DeleteI enjoyed the video. I'm always surprised at what I call "the french toast crowd" that feel the urge to run to the store every time snow is predicted in our area. It's the same thing for them, bread milk and eggs to carry them through the emergency. My neighbor asked me why I didn't go to the store before our last snow storm and I told her I didn't need anything. She couldn't believe it.

DeleteDebbie did you see her latest video, where there has been a mudslide right near their house. The driveway is gone and they are pretty much stuck and unable to get in or out. I hope to see that they are going to be able to deal with this.
