My Hubby in a Hall of Famer!

I am so proud of my hubby!  He was nominated for the Palouse Area Bowling Hall of Fame that inducts 1 new member into it each year.  I just got the phone call telling me he won!  He has been bowling since he was a young teen and worked in bowling alleys for years also.  He did take a large chunk of time off from bowling when finances were tight while we raised our boys.  When he was able to return to bowling, he fulfilled a long time dream of bowling with all 3 of our sons on a team for 1 year on a bowling league. This man of mine has won many tournaments and bowled in Region Pro tournaments too and done well in them.  He helped coach Special Olympians in bowling for a year and had a wonderful time working with those special athletes, many of whom remember him to this day!  What I am most proud of him for though is that he not only bowled with a younger kid who had watched and admire my hubby and asked him (my hubby was 19 year old at the time) to bowl with him in a tournament, but the way Jeff handled it when that boy had bad day and was feeling like he let them down.  Jeff told him not to worry about it...sometimes you have good days and other days don't go as you want them too.  Jeff then thanked the young man for asking him to be his partner in that tournament and told him he had a good time bowling with him. That left a huge impression on that young man. :)  My hubby has a huge heart, great character and loves to encourage young people to continue to enjoy that sport that he loves so very much.  Yet another reason to love this man of mine!
