Cold here last night as well. Saw that my dog was cold last night and had to find his winter blanket - ha! Needed mittens when I walked the dog this morning with bare hands. Now they're dug out of the drawer and ready for use. So far, though, have not turned the heat on. I splurged last fall and bought insulated drapes from home depot. So, when I close the drapes and cut the draft from my patio doors (two sets in my apt.), I haven't needed the heat yet. This apt only has electric base board heaters so I try and hold off with the heat as long as possible. Hope you're feeling better. I'm 'saving up' my energy as I have a dentist appointment on Thursday. So I've been a house bunny the last few days and tomorrow. Cheers, SJ in Vancouver BC
I'm impressed SJ with you not turning on the heat yet. I wimped out and had to turn it on. ;) I'm amazed that our Caesar has not pulled his quilt over himself yet.
WOW - I have to say I am glad it's you and not me! Here in Indiana we usually have frost this early - but so far so good. It doesn't look it will be happening for at least another week or two.
Thanks! I really hope you are all staying warm up on the mountain. Are you ready for this next storm that is coming in? I'm worried about the high winds and am battening down the hatches here.
Thank you for taking time to comment on my blog posts. I really appreciate it and being able to get to know you through your comments. I hope you have a wonderful day!
You and I are in the same boat, Debbie!! :) Love this post - really well done!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Deborah! Looks like we are getting more again tonight. :)

ReplyDeleteI am not looking forward to winter!!!
My mother called to tell me she had snow at her place on Monday morning. :) She was thrilled to pieces! LOL!
DeleteHoping you have a few more weeks of gardening before the frost kills everything off in you part of the world. :)
Be blessed!
Whoa! It is cooler in Oklahoma but nothing like you are having.
ReplyDeleteRhonda, I'm glad that things cooled down for you. :)
DeleteThankfully there hasn't been frost here yet. I know it is coming, but I am never ready!
ReplyDeleteWendi, I welcome it. :) These hot flashes really have appreciated the cooler weather too. LOL!

ReplyDeleteThank you Andrea :) I hope you are having a great day!
DeleteYour pictures said it all! It's turned cooler here, too, "cooler" being highs only in the low 70s! :D
ReplyDeleteThat does sound nice Bless! The 70's are perfect weather. :)
DeleteBrr! Yes, that cold weather has visited us here too, lol! Love your cozy picture of the hot coffee :)
