I have always been told they won't survive the winter but you have given me hope!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449564619872452771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283658887503348180.post-20933239581525997182020-06-23T15:09:06.311-07:002020-06-23T15:09:06.311-07:00https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/cilantro_lim...https://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/cilantro_lime_rice/ I did not have the actual lime so I did not add in the lime zest. I did have bottled lime juice and used that in place of the fresh lime.Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449564619872452771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283658887503348180.post-87016503354573501922020-06-23T15:07:20.441-07:002020-06-23T15:07:20.441-07:00Thank you Rhonda. I'll just pull one out the night before he is due to come home, pop it in the freezer and let it thaw in there, and then pop it in the oven when we get home. Either that or one of my DIL's will bring us a meal for that first and second night he is home. They are amazing that way!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449564619872452771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283658887503348180.post-64487633790861721322020-06-23T15:05:39.810-07:002020-06-23T15:05:39.810-07:00Thank you Bless and I hope you have too. :)Thank you Bless and I hope you have too. :)Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16449564619872452771noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283658887503348180.post-76355017113427730832020-06-20T12:34:02.537-07:002020-06-20T12:34:02.537-07:00I always love these updates.

Fortunately both were phone appointments but still tiring.

It's raining all day today here so no need to go to the gardens. I'm happy for the break. Yesterday, I harvested garlic scapes, radish, turnip, strawberries and...drum roll... one tiny artichoke. Oh my gosh, it was so good. The down side to growing in the middle of a city park in a community garden is that often produce walks away. I wanted to get the artichoke harvested before that happened. There are two more smaller chokes growing so it will be interesting to see how big they get. I started with three plants but only one survived the winter. They're perenials which I love and obviously don't know how to spell..
Take good care.
SJ in Vancouver BCAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283658887503348180.post-62604445841413424882020-06-20T11:28:49.063-07:002020-06-20T11:28:49.063-07:00I would love to have that cilantro lime rice recip...I would love to have that cilantro lime rice recipe. And we were not in the mood at all for difficulty.
So, now I always plan ahead and it’s just one less hassle Rhondahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07898829593961271218noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2283658887503348180.post-26916146594069383932020-06-19T21:42:29.588-07:002020-06-19T21:42:29.588-07:00Sounds like you've had a great week, Debbie.Sounds like you've had a great week, Debbie.Blesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16369267622517848850noreply@blogger.com
