My Assistant Rufus...helping again. ;)

"Time to go to bed Mom.  I'll sit here and groom myself while you wash your face. Life would be so much easier if you could lick yourself clean like I do.  Humans...such strange animals."

"Hey Mom, I'm getting bored here waiting for you to turn the water on."

"You need to brush those back teeth just a little longer before you try to maneuver around or over me.  Just make sure you don't get any toothpaste on me when you try to spit into this sink I'm blocking."

Earlier that day...

"I'll help you make the bed...just checking on these freshly line dried sheets for you.  Oh they smell good!"

"What do you mean this bed is not for me?  Why does Tutu get to have her own bed when she visits and I have to share with you?  You don't even let me have this bed when she is not here.  What's up with that?"

"I guess this will pass inspection once you get that pillow behind my tail put up where it belongs.  I still don't understand why this can't be my bed.  I thought I owned everything in this house."

    1. Thanks! This cat tried to kick my mother out of the bed and finally settled on just sleeping with her. ;)

  3. Laughing here. I can't potty by myself ever - one of 3 kitties or all have to go with me. Coogy HAS to help change the sheets every time!
    Got to love out babies.

    1. Oh Cheryl, that is funny! Rufus is that way too...he even opened the bathroom door on my poor parents while they were here. Good thing my parents have a wonderful sense of humor and just laughed about it. :)

  4. Too cute! I love kitties. My cat I adopted when I was a freshman in college (who now lives out her days at my parents sprawling homestead) loved to be in the bathroom with me. She just waited for me to brush my teeth or wash my face. She loved to bat at the water coming out, and sometimes, she liked to drink it. She was a character as a young kitty. She still is now, of course, she's just slowed down a bit :-)

I hope you have a great week Debbie!

    1. Yes they are...I have always felt that a home is just a house without a cat. :)
